The SG and AUG are now viable choices (they may have been in 1.6, actually, but I never even tried them because they had definitely been inferior to the M4/AK in earlier version), the deag is no longer a handheld sniper, etc. I also found out that the jumping glock burst isn't nearly as effective, nor is the famas burst. Yesterday, for example, I found out HE grenades don't go through walls like they did in 1.6- which means I've been wasting a ton of HE grenades. Certain things, like the changes in movement values and spray (on the player's end, the increased value of stutter stepping and predictable recoil control) are talked about a lot, but some aren't. I've put a little bit of time into CS:GO now (40 comp wins- just enough to get a feel) and done a fair bit of reading too, but I'm still finding stuff out that majorly impacts my game.
